Ben has over 20 years of experience advising families, their trusts and their businesses on all of their tax and accounting needs.

Ben qualified at Dixon Wilson first as a Chartered Accountant and then as a Chartered Tax Adviser, winning national prizes in both. He also holds the Institute Medal, the highest academic award issued by the Chartered Institute of Taxation each year.

Ben is familiar with all aspects of UK tax and accounting.  He has particular expertise in international aspects of UK taxation and regularly advises on matters including tax residence, domicile and the remittance basis of taxation.  He also has a key focus on landed estates and advises a number of estates across the country on their tax and accounting issues, ranging from cost efficiencies and compliance work to longer term objectives such as planning for development or passing wealth on efficiently to future generations.

Ben’s focus is on providing sensible, clear advice that helps clients achieve their goals both in the short and longer terms.  His dual qualification in accounting and taxation allows him to advise his clients holistically on all of their affairs, both personal and business.  He has committed his career to the firm and this has enabled him to build a number of long term relationships with his clients.
