The internship itself was a fantastic experience, everyone at the firm was so welcoming to me which made it much easier to settle in. I worked on a good range of tasks ranging from Trusts to Investment accounts, it was great to, whilst being just an intern, feel as if my work was helpful towards a job.
After my internship I was keen to return to Dixon Wilson so applied for their three-year ACA graduate programme.
Dixon Wilson is the perfect place to start one’s career in the Accounting or Finance field. As, being a training firm, all the managers and supervisors are very aware of their role to train and are very patient and willing to answer any queries one may have. There is also importance put on work life balance, with regular socials being organised by the social committee.
